Install and add a source

Download IPTVS from the App Store and choose Add Source. Only use a source you have the right to access.

  • Xtream Codes: server address, username and password.
  • M3U/M3U8: playlist URL and optional XMLTV URL for guide data.
  • Use Test Connection when available before saving.

The catalog is empty or will not refresh

Confirm that the provider service is available and the credentials have not changed. Refresh the source from Source Manager.

  • Verify the server address and account status with the provider.
  • Check that the device has network access.
  • Remove and add the source again only after confirming the details.

Guide or catchup is missing

EPG and TV archive data come from the provider. IPTVS can only display and play information offered by the source.

  • M3U normally needs an XMLTV URL for guide data.
  • Xtream catchup requires a channel marked with TV archive.
  • Older programs may be outside the provider's archive window.

A stream will not start

Try another channel or title to separate a single broken stream from an account or network issue.

  • Check whether the provider limits concurrent connections.
  • Stop playback on another device.
  • Some unusual codecs or damaged streams cannot play on every Apple device.

AirPlay and Google Cast

Use AirPlay from iPhone or Mac. Google Cast is available on iPhone when a compatible receiver is found on the same local network.

  • Allow local network access when the system asks.
  • MKV is not sent to Google Cast.
  • IPTVS releases the local connection before Cast handoff for providers that allow only one stream.

Restore Premium

Open the Premium screen and choose Restore Purchases. You must be signed in with the Apple account used for the purchase.

  • The App Store verifies the purchase and displays local price information.
  • Restoring does not create a new purchase.
  • Manage an active subscription in your Apple account subscription settings.
